ABOUT THIS PROJECT

THE BRIEF

Develop a motion graphic video to showcase the enhanced capabilities of the Mobile Payments Acceptance app. Mobile Payment Acceptance is a downloadable application that enables a merchant to accept and process credit and debit card payments from anywhere. You can accept credit card payments either by entering information manually or by using a mobile card reader. This product allows our indirect clients’ merchants reach more customers and grow their business.

THE SOLUTION

Since this was for our indirect clients, we had to keep this video generic and not use the TSYS brand name. We went through many rounds of scripts and storyboards before finally settling on copy and visuals that walked the fine line of being it’s own product and not straying too far off the TSYS brand. The use of whitespace helped keep the video clean and modern looking, and the use of the light blue utilized a secondary brand color that allowed the visuals to pop. Since this had to stay unbranded, we could not leverage actual screenshots of the software. We decided to illustrate them in a way that they gave an actual representation of the software while staying true to the illustrative style of the rest of the video.
