Processnow Advertising
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
THE BRIEF
Develop print ads for the November 2014, December 2014 and Feburary 2015 editions of Digital Transactions magazine. Digital Transactions is a trade publication catered specifically to professionals in the payments space. The primary goal of these ads were to raise awareness of TransFirst’s new flagship product, ProcessNow, a cloud-based point-of-sale payment application for small and mid-size businesses. This payment processing solution was available to merchants via mobile app or at the counter in-store.
THE SOLUTION
January 2015:
This full page ad focused on merchants upgrading their outdated equipment for the “next evolution of payment processing”. The idea was to highlight ProcessNow as a modern, cutting-edge alternative to payments solutions of the past. We wanted to show old, outdated payment equipment in various states of decay in the background, while putting a spotlight on the new ProcessNow equipment.
December 2014:
One of the main selling features for small businesses of ProcessNow was the fact that we offered different products depending on the merchants needs. A merchant could choose between a countertop or mobile device or both. The creative was developed to highlight the opportunity for a merchant to take payments both in-store or out in the field. Visually, we chose to use a artist as a primary example of a small business merchant who would need both capabilities — whether she was in her art gallery or selling at an outdoor art festival. We also wanted to highlight the software features to show how robust ProcessNow was with the use of iconography.
October 2014:
One of the ways ProcessNow stood out from our competition was the choice of color options we offered. It positioned our product as a hip, modern alternative to Square or Clover. Small business owners could select a color that worked with their brand and the modern design of the device could stand out as the centerpiece of the checkout station. The goal was to highlight these color options by playing up various small business environments that highlight different, unique palettes. The catchy headline played up the idea that you can take any type of payment, anywhere and for any type of business.
