ABOUT THIS PROJECT
THE BRIEF
Create a high-impact direct marketing campaign targeting 210 emerging market and field service vertical Integrated Software Vendors (ISVs), encouraging them to switch to TSYS as their integrated payments partner. The campaign’s objective is to differentiate TSYS, generate interest, and open doors for the business development team to initiate partnership discussions.
The mailer features a TSYS-branded Tile device, symbolizing reliability and connectivity, housed in custom-designed packaging. Inside, an informative brochure highlights the benefits of partnering with TSYS, emphasizing business growth, seamless integration, and unmatched support. This premium approach ensures recipients experience both a functional gift and a compelling introduction to TSYS’s value proposition.
THE SOLUTION
Building on our “Hello Future” campaign, the team developed the wave runner/swimmer concept to emphasize how effortless partnering with TSYS can be. The visual metaphor compares riding a wave runner—fast and efficient—to swimming across an ocean—slow and exhausting—underscoring the ease of doing business with TSYS while reinforcing a winning mentality.
We collaborated closely with the printing and distribution company to create custom packaging that aligns with our brand’s clean, modern aesthetic. To personalize the experience further, we designed a supporting booklet detailing the benefits of partnership, including a tailored message and signature from the assigned sales representative.
THE RESULTS
58 units were sent in the initial mailing. Actual cost was $3,423.02 with a return of $864,000 for an ROI of 251.4%.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Key targets at companies that develop specialized software for emerging or field verticals (gyms, salons, spas, trade services, etc.). They are familiar with the integrated payment partner model and already have an integrated partner.
